Just the Goods vegan face wash for oily/combination skin

Just the Goods’ face wash varieties for oily/combination skin begin with a gentle organic Castile soap base plus kaolin clay to help absorb impurities, and grapefruit, rosemary, and tea tree oil for a deep, disinfecting clean.

The moisturizing variety includes just the right amount of shea to moisturize without clogging pores. The lightly foaming variety is made without shea butter. Those who are accustomed to/prefer a soapy cleanser will prefer the lightly foaming variety. Those who prefer a creamy cleanser, or who are prone to seasonal dry patches, will prefer the moisturizing variety. Many alternate their selection depending on seasonal weather conditions.

Both types of face wash are available with or without biodegradable exfoliating jojoba beads.

All variations of this product are EWG VERIFIED™.

This product can be used on its own, but following with an appropriate toner and moisturizer is recommended. Please see below for additional notes about this product and its suitability for different skin types.

Directions:

This product is made with castile soap and is designed to be applied to the face in the same way that soap would be used on any other part of the body. Avoid eyes. Rinse well. Please note: Aluminum is thin and runs the risk of being dented either when shipped from the distributor to me, in the lab during production, or during shipping as a finished product. A dent in aluminum packaging is - at most - an aesthetic inconvenience in that it does not affect the quality or function of the product inside. The same is true for a beverage container - a dent that has not contributed to a leak does not impact the the product, which can still be consumed and enjoyed. Additional Product Tips:

1) Those switching from a petroleum-based product may find that it takes a few days for skin to become accustomed to the gentle clean of natural Castile soap particularly if using the moisturizing variety which contains shea butter. There may be a feeling of residue left behind after washing. This will eventually stop as skin adjusts and stops over producing natural oils to compensate for what is usually removed. Using toner after washing helps to minimize this initial sensation. 2) Just the Goods is about using the least amount of ingredients to achieve a clean, effective formula -- "just the goods", and nothing extra. Adding emulsifiers, even plant based ones, increases cost (raw materials + labour) as well as potential allergens or toxicity (i.e. xanthan gum is made from corn, most lecithin is made from soy, emulsifiers made from seaweed such as carageenan can contain trace amounts of heavy metals and/or cause redness and inflammation).  If you are having trouble tipping the bottle only slightly to pour the desired amount of product into your hands, I offer a range of re-usable bottle tops to maintain a low price point for each product and to reduce landfill waste as those items can not be recycled: https://justthegoods.net/collections/accessories. Some folks like pumps, others like flip tops, but most overwhelmingly prefer to use the products without extra accessories to maintain as low an environmental impact as possible. 

3) Did you know: Just the Goods lightly foaming face wash for acne prone skin is suitable for use as a beard wash.
