Harmonic Arts Reishi Concentrated Mushroom Powder

I've been experimenting with mushroom powders in skin care, and now you can, too! 

The benefits of Reishi mushroom (Ling-zhi) have been studied in China for over 2000 years. This "Mushroom of Spiritual Potency" is traditionally used to promote longevity and vitality.

In so far as skin care is concerned, reishi are very high in a type of antioxidant glucose molecules known as beta-glucans, which make them valuable anti-inflammatory agents.

At the same time, they contain polysaccharides that can help to hydrate skin while gently fading dark marks/scars.

And, particularly notable, reishi can help our bodies synthesize ceramide -- the protective layer running over the surface of our skin made from sphingosine, a chain of carbon atoms with an amino acid attached to it. In more direct terms, this can help skin retain moisture in while blocking environmental stressors.

This dual extracted powder blends easily with water for use as a mask. Use it alone or blended with a light clay to help draw impurities away from the skin.

Organic fruiting body reishi only (ganoderma lucidum) extracted in water and alcohol at a ratio of 12:1 provides 4500mg of fruiting body reishi per 1/8 tsp of concentrated powder

45 g packed in an amber glass bottle. Once opened, this product is final sale. 

To effectively control moisture within the package the use of a desiccant is recommended. It is included in the finished good and should be kept with the product while stored, tightly closed when the product is not in use.
