Harmonic Arts Organic Turkey Tail Concentrated Mushroom Powder (Trametes versicolor)

I've been experimenting with mushroom powders in skin care, and now you can, too! This product is extracted from the fruiting body of Turkey Tail mushroom using hot water making it very soluble and thus readily available for absorption by skin.

Turkey Tail is one of the most researched fungi in the world. In China and Japan, it is often used for immune and digestive imbalances. Where skin care is concerned, it has high levels of flavonoid antioxidants, such as quercetin, which helps restore connective tissue cells in the skin, in turn having a positive influence on the production of collagen and elastin. Quercetin is also a known anti-inflammatory to help manage puffy, red, irritated skin. Additionally, Turkey Tail mushroom offers high levels of beta-glucans that have humectant properties to draw water into the skin, which mantians hydration and ultimately replenishing skin barrier function.

This blends easily with water for use as a mask. Use it alone or blended with a light clay to help draw impurities away from the skin.

Harmonic Art's Turkey Tail Powder is extracted at a ratio of 8:1. This means that you get 5000 mg of dry fruiting body within 1/4 tsp of concentrated powder.

This product is offered as final sale. 

To effectively control moisture within the package the use of a desiccant is recommended. It is included in the finished good and should be kept with the product while stored, tightly closed when the product is not in use.
